A GSM card is a communication card like the one you have in your mobile or smartphone.
NVAuto needs such a card to communicate.
Yes, NVAuto has no monthly fee, but it does have usage costs.
When you make a location request, you will send an SMS to the locator, and the locator will answer you. Therefore, each communication you make with the device, and the device makes with you, will have an SMS cost which varies between operators and tariffs.
When sending a location request through the APP, you can choose if you wish to receive the message with the street name or with a link to Google Maps with the location of your vehicle. In the case you choose the link to Google Maps, you need internet access on your smartphone to be able to view the vehicle’s position on the map.
No. With NVAuto the location request is made manually by the APP. You then receive a message with the name of the street or a link to Google Maps with the location of your vehicle.
When you make a request to immobilize the vehicle, whenever it is moving at a speed below 10km/h (for safety reasons) it will turn off and will not turn on again until you send another request to unblock.
